A reminder, if you requested enrollment in a CRTC program in Powerschool, please also be sure to complete your CRTC application if it has not yet been done. Please bring the completed application to the CRTC Office this week.

Please feel free to come by our office with any questions or concerns. We are in the middle of stretch where we process applications from nine different schools, each with their own deadlines and nuances. Completing your CRTC application in a timely manner is essential to be considered.

In any case, we are honored and humbled that you are considering the CRTC. We look forward to helping you to become accomplished in your chosen career.

Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, it was decided to cancel Preview Day today Friday February 5, 2016. We will be in touch this morning to reschedule.

CRTC Program Preview Days

On this Tuesday and Friday (February 2 and 5), as well as next Tuesday (February 9), the CRTC will be holding its first ever Program Preview Days. Unlike the general tours we’ve always done in the past, this year we take a more targeted approach where interested students will spend 35 minutes in each of two specific programs they’ve expressed interest in. This model changed based on clear feedback from our student leadership group.

We expect to be hosting over 600 students, mostly sophomores (with a few freshman), from all nine of our feeder schools for about a two-hour window. Interested CHS students selected their two programs at a sophomore assembly in December. Our office (717-7654, info@thecrtc.net) has been diligently working to schedule every individual student. Please contact us to book or confirm your schedule. All three Preview days are open to all sending school students, although we are focusing February 9th as primarily a CHS day.

Our website, http://thecrtc.net contains a wealth of critical information under the Admissions tab for students and their families, including an updated FAQ posted today. We also have two new online videos that tell our story.

Historically, we are 97-100% full by March 1, so we cannot stress enough to students and families to use February, which is National CTE month, as the window to apply to the CRTC. We are available to help in any manner possible.
